AUDITION UPDATE - 6 March

To our auditionees,

Thank you for your patience while we considered our options for the upcoming 24 Hour Musical Project auditions.

Considering Alfred's lingering presence, delayed crossing and as yet unpredictable aftermath, we thought it best to relieve us all of the stress of trying to push through the audition process at this time. No one wants Alfred to rain on your parade - we want you to be able to enjoy your audition and perform at your best. We hope that postponing will provide a little more certainty for us all and allow you to focus on more important things this weekend (like ensuring you have enough toilet paper to get you through the next four months!)

The current plan is to reschedule audition sessions next weekend, 15-16 March. We will work to confirm our venue options and timing as soon as practical in the coming week. Once arrangements are confirmed we will contact you to ask which of the rescheduled sessions you are available for or whether you would prefer to submit a video audition.

The tentative schedule will offer audition sessions on both days from 9am to 4pm, with dance calls in the middle of the day (likely around 12.30pm). Once again, you will have the opportunity to nominate your availability once we have confirmed the detail of session times.

If you cannot be available to audition in person next weekend, we encourage you to submit a video audition. The video audition requirements are available on our website here. Our next communication will include an option to submit a video link, so you don't need to complete the whole audition form again. Video submissions will be due by Saturday 15 March.

For those who have already submitted a video audition, please note that the delay of the casting process will also delay notification of successful auditions until after 16 March.

Whether you choose to reschedule your audition or submit a video, we look forward to seeing you soon.
Stay safe!
